March 3, 2012

eventually.

Assalammualaikum w.b.t

Alhamdulillah, segala puji untuk-Nya yang memberiku peluang bernafas sehari lagi di atas muka bumi-Nya.

today is 2nd march. incase, this entry is posted later than the original date it's written.

at this point, i guess my tkc girlfriends are in the car heading to Segamat and maybe later continue to Kuala Terengganu the next day, then to Bangi the next next day for our three girls weddings and engagement. it doesn't stop there, you know. only God knows how many more weddings and engagements are coming up, this year.

like most of the 'single clan' among us said, 'this is pure peer pressure'. but, i guess, everyone is getting used to it, including me. i'm happy for them. although, i might seem ignorant (by not liking alllllll the announcement posts on our facebook group).

but tonight is different. while we are busy being 'submerging' by all these great news, a tweet from someone shakes me up. i almost cry. i don't know why, but the pain is so powerful as if i am her soul.

i just hope she don't read my blog. i can't help writing it here.

we weren't that close during school. but i guess, being in a head position gave me the advantage to be more than just a normal friend to everyone. so, there she was. we were in different class, different house, our path did not cross that much. except for batch stuffs. despite all that, we still talked about personal things, sometimes.

it was last Ramadhan during our iftar get together at Keker's place at Bangi. i saw her again after few years being connected only by social network. all of us were so noisy that night (well, we are always noisy). i was sitting next to her when Hanaa was calling out our name to distribute Farah's wedding card. to be honest, i was a bit shocked. we were excited and were in joy, i never thought to see someone was actually trying so hard to smile, to hide her sorrow.

i touched her knee, telling her sincerely that it has been so long and that she's becoming sweeter and prettier since last we met. she did smile, yes. but it was not enough to stop me from thinking and worrying about her all night long. some of us who stayed for a sleep over continued chitchatting till late at night. i remember glancing at her few times to check her out. finally, she slept. (i think she was among the first one to fall asleep)

someone broke her heart, so heavily.

she's a very cheerful, energetic girl as far as i'm concerned. can be very seducing but not easy to get. i'm not going to tell the whole story to the world. but just so you know, while few boys were flirting and tried to be permanent in her heart, she already made the choice.

i dont remember the detail like how long was the relationship etc, but i think, none of us expected that the boy would (eventually) left. for another woman.

maybe some of you might say, 'naaa, just another broken relationship story'. but no. at this age, i dare to say, if someone wants to commit a relationship, it will rarely be a 'just-for-fun-highschool' type of relationship. we are too old for these immaturity. it should be more marriage oriented (would be best and juicy if syurga oriented too).

about true love, about accepting, being honest, patience, courage, trust, brave and so on, i know nothing about any of these adjectives/nouns. while the opposite seems very familiar to me. (i promise, i'm learning and am trying hard to understand). but one thing for sure, this girl has taught me half of the meaning to these words due to her simple tweet.

she tweeted to the boy, wishing, for him to have the happiness till jannah as he's getting married tommorrow.

dommage, she's still in love with him.
O Allah, please make her strong. :(

i think i'm being extra emotional because she's calling the boy 'abang'. motif?? banyak tengok cite melayu ni. T.T
