CCMP'12 : #2 - Diari Scotland (i)

Assalammualaikum w.b.t 

Alhamdulillah,segala puji untuk-Nya yang memberiku peluang bernafas sehari lagi di atas muka bumi-Nya.

alamak, i wanted to update about things i've done before going to backpacking! tapi macam dah basi pulak. and this Diari Scotland going to have series of entry. ada orang kata, sayang isteri tinggal-tinggalkan ek? so, sbb sayang rumah, kita tinggal-tinggalkan lah. haha. esok, i'm going to leave Grenoble again for Lyon and St Etienne. this time tak tau bila balik.

so, aku resume kan je la ek aktiviti-aktiviti yang buat before backpacking.

Paint Ball

ini kali pertama aku main paint ball dalam hidup. mula-mula macam cuak. cuak sebab takut bawak kekalahan kepada team. ehehe. mula-mula tu malas nak pergi sebab it is quite expensive. but Amin begged us sebab nak minta teman one of his friend datang bercuti from UK, Aqilah. so, Isma and I agreed. but later on, Aqilah suddenly had stomach ache (ke sakit pinggang?) and tak jadi pergi. and we were like cursing Amin in the car, 'kau memperdayakan perempuan-perempuan suci seperti kami!" and he went laughing, langsung tak rasa bersalah. but we still have to go sebab dah buat reservation. sebab ada satu kereta je and there was 9 of us, 4 orang kena naik basikal.

i enjoyed it so much! we played on 6 themes (ke 4? see.. dah lama sgt sampai lupa!) and keputusan seri. both team has 3 points! :)

lepas tu nak balik, aku macam terliur plak tengok diorang ni bawak basikal. rasa gian plak kaki nak mengayuh. so, aku tanya John (because he was using Sarah's bike), and John agreed to go back by car.

Bouffer International

Allah is so generous to have to put me here. satu hari, ada kawan aku cakap, he was a bit jealous of budak Civil Engineering. aku pun macam, eh, nak jealous apa yek? well, memang aku bertuah, alhamdulillah, praise to Him, i have these girls as my batchmates and we are really close! sebab selalu sangat bekerja and bergembira dengan diorang, mentaliti pun bertukar. we no longer see assignments or exams as competition. maybe jugak sebab masing-masing kitorang ni dah tua. hahaha. so macam malas nak bersaing. we helped each other out in everything although kadang-kadang ada percanggahan cara kerja.

and so one day, Holy, a Madagascarian (is this word exist?) said, 'eh, kita ni very international kan? apa kata kita buat makan-makan, aku nak jugak rasa food negara korang.' and we were like, 'ohhhh we should!!'

but the plan was postponed few times sbb every weekend semua orang quite busy nak siapkan kerja masing-masing. but alhamdulillah, right after habis exam, dapat jugak buat makan-makan. sadly, Mimouna (Franco-Tunisian) and Nada (Tunisian) couldnt make it. 

at first, i was a bit worried. my head was arranging appropriates words, macam mana nak cakap, yang aku makan daging halal, dont eat porc and dont drink alcohol. but heyyy, after i announced it, turn diorang pulak yang pening-pening fikir nak masak apa using seafood!

TADAAA! i made laksa! and cekodok!

i think i was sobbing a bit when they came sebab everyone did an effort to cook using prawns and Holy even went to buy some halal meats! and yeah, Madagascar foods ressemble a lot of Malay foods and Malay foods ressemble a lot of Chinese food jugak! hahaha. kalau terjemahkan masakan diorang ni, Holy cooked 'daging masak halia' and Yi Chen cooked 'Udang masak kicap'. hahaha. kelakar betul. but unfortunately, Sarka didnt have the time to cook something 'Czechian' as she was busy with her parents. it's allright, love.

dua kumbang sesat! bukan main malu cakap nak join. kehkeh.

les filles! isma was invited of course for her delicious karipap! :P

Backpacking - DAY 1

this is actually my second time backpacking! the first time was with my gila friend, Yana! masa tu, we went to Amsterdam then lompat pegi Copenhagen and then to Berlin. lompat 3 negara in a week. but this time, was with miss Isma and it was for 2 weeks!

so the itinery was : from Grenoble we took a train to Geneva Airport. lepas tu, dari Geneva, took Easyjet to Edinburg. from Edinburg to Aberdeen then to Inverness then to Isle of Skye. sume ni kitorang naik bas. lepas tu guna bas dan train to Glasgow. from Glasgow turun London using Easyjet and finally balik Grenoble using Easyjet jugak and train.

hari pertama, kitorang sampai Edinburgh. hujan yang menyambut kitorang. hehe. tapi sebenarnya, kitorang ni degil. masa tu dekat France, panas gila! of course la, it's summer. tapi Isma's mum dah warning, bring something thick to wear sebab Scotland masih sejuk. tapi degil! hah, padan muka, kitorang menggigil-gigil!

macam kura-kura! those were my bags for 14 days!

oleh sebab hujan, we spent the rest of the day dalam hostel je. thank god Isma bawak laptop kecik dia tu. and guess what, we watched *** (lupa nama drama Jepun tu) tapi yang penting, ada Yamapi! hahaha.

Backpacking - DAY 2

so hari kedua, kitorang bangun untuk discover bandar Edinburgh. what we did actually, sampai je kat setiap bandar, first thing to do is cari Tourism Office dia and tanya apa yang boleh buat. tapi kitorang ada je la tempat-tempat yang nak pergi. it was just, in case we missed the essential things. i dont really know macam mana nak cerita, so i guess, i'll share pictures je boleh? hehe.

kerusi along the Pricess St. semuanya ada plaque memorial to spesific people. so romantic!

i dont remember where. but in a street of Edinburgh, thats for sure!

this is Scottish Parliament! cantik gilaaa surrounding dia, so greeny!

so we took a walk outside first. isma berposing. chewah!

i said 'isma, jom naik bukit tu! everyone is climbing!' and then isma replied, 'taknak!' hahaha.

and so we entered the Parliament. cantikkkkk. kat malaysia camne agaknya eh.

they call  the 'Debate Room'.

tempat ni cool sangat!!! 4 tingkat! they even let us to have a break, pegi makan, and then come back and continue the visit. 

nyam...nyam... isma bersedia untuk disantap? hehe.

i only put 'Baby' transformation punye gambar because yang lain horror! cute kan saya! hahaha.

mengidam kembar kot ni. hahaha. lihat cubaan untuk membentuk heart di paksi simetri?

this is scary! how did they do that?? you put your hand and macam ada hantu yang hulur tangan! waaa.

actually banyak lagi gambar kat Obscura ni. tapi letak sikit je la ek. nak lagi, kena pegi sendiri. hahaha. kedekut!

ok. habis dah untuk kali ni. nanti sambung lagi, yek. rasanya, maximum, it should be 7 entries. as i said earlier that im going musafir again esok, the upcoming entries will be scheduled entries. ehehe. oh no, masa berlalu plak time aku edit-edit gambar. so tak larat aku nak habiskan Diari Scotland ni and schedule kan entry. so, lepas balik je la aku sambung yek. ehehe. thank you for reading! i must go tidy up my studio and packing! again! daa!
